Does external CSS work?

Inline styles and styles inside a  block are the reliable approach. Stylesheets linked from external files may not be fetched, so for predictable results put your CSS directly in the markup you paste.

Will JavaScript run?

No. The converter renders the markup as supplied rather than executing scripts, so anything generated dynamically by JavaScript will not appear. Paste the final HTML you want in the document, not code that would produce it in a browser.

Can I convert a live web page instead?

Yes — use Webpage to PDF for that. Enter a URL and the page content is fetched and converted. This tool is for HTML you already have; that one is for pages on the web.

Will images show up?

Images referenced by a full public URL are fetched and included. Images embedded as base64 data URIs always work, since the data travels with the markup. Local file paths will not resolve, because the converter has no access to your computer.
